Unanswered: HELP! Desperate gift giver and I NEED HELP!
My friend *blankity blank* is ASKING me for gifts this year. I really hate to say no, HOWEVER, I don't have the cash to give him/her anything special. WHAT in the WORLD do I get him/her, do I even get her ANYTHING? I feel so bad that she's ASKING me for something, as in saying, "hey, for xmas can you get me a *blankity blank*?" Do I HAVE to get her something?
Is it a good friend? If so, I would definitely get her something but just nicely explain that you're sorry you can't get what she wanted but that what you gave her is all you can afford. If it's not a good friend, you could just do something really simple like making cookies for her or getting her something really small.
Well, first of all, that's really rude of her/him for asking. Secondly, get her whatever you want to get her/him. You don't have to get her/him what she/he's asking for. A true friend, would love whatever you got them, no matter if it's 40.00 or 34 cents. It's the thought that counts. A true friend doesn't care, they just love that you got them a gift
Here is what i did this year. I asked one of my other webbie friends to send me a decent present. Then, I send it to my begging friend and then told her i got it special for her. She enjoyed it and i didnt lose my entire savings!lol. Try.
