Its really not that childish. I have seen lots of older kids/adults looking at Webkinz in gift shops. Its just a way to have and unleash your inner kid. If you want one get one!

Hope that helps!

I'm age edited and I think its fine if an adult has a webkinz. i have a 30-year old dentist who has 7 of them. I'm proud of her because she's just expressing herself freely.

LOL, that's waht I was going to suggest.
A tip I learned a long, LONG time ago when I first started scrapbooking and having to hide bills... Alot of grocery stores, and even walmart, will let you write a check for $20 over the amount. My guy never looks at the receipt as long as the amount is written into the check book. See where I'm going with this?? wink-wink, nudge nudge.

Not saying more because I don't want to actually encourage anything bad, but you get the picture...

There are some definate perks to having your own account. Extra goodies on the holidays for one! I use mine as a trading account to surprise my kids with items they don't have yet. Plus, as a lot of other moms will tell you - it's our own little virtual world that always stays nice and tidy, never have to do dishes there either!

LOL, yeah, one of my kinz accounts had everyting all neat and tidy, it drives my godson nuts. The other account is a total mess, my mom laughs and says it looks like my "real" house.
At least in WW, you never need to take out trash and clean bathrooms.. Or clean up after the pets!!

My boyfriend actually thinks that it is cute that I play with Webkinz... he has his video games and sports and I have this... You just need to explain that it is a break from the real world plus they are so cute!

I know what you are talking about. My DH doesn't understand either. He'll sit and humor the kids when they show him their rooms, movies, whatever, but he can't understand why an adult wants to play with them. I don't let it bother me, even though he irritates me when he says to stop playing with the kids toys...I find it relaxing to play the games and unwind or design a new room. I told him the other day that he should be grateful that I can design rooms for our pets and not spend the money on rooms in our house

I opened an account about a week ago, and my own husband opened one two a day later too. We both think Webkinz is a very nice way to relax and have mindless fun on the computer (as long as we don't lose our virtual stuff due to the bugs and start pulling our hair, that is, like it just happened to me )

I personally really enjoy buying furniture and decorate my pets' home. It's kind of like shop-at-home fun, without spending too much real money (now that's something a husband can appreciate, I'm sure, haha!)
