Dishwashing soap I think worked for me a while back. I'm not sure. :3
Chances are its the oils and juices from the pepper that hurt.
So using dish soap (since its made to cut through oil) will probably help. And next time make sure you wear some gloves!

I heard that too. Or I think maybe putting yogurt on them too. I read in a book that the reason peppers can make your mouth (or in this case, your hands) burn has to do with the capsasicin in the pepper. Something in yogurt has the ability to cut through the capsasicin and relieves the burning feeling.
