i agree with whats been said. in the clubhouse, the values are all dependant on what's in demand, not necessarily what retired first. however i know it is upsetting to some people that their items/clothing went down in value just because of popular demand. if you wait until halloween next year, the hat might go up in popularity again.
You hear that a lot in the trading rooms....witch is down this week....elf is up this week....like their is a Wall Street listing for them!!.....it is just one way that the ones who have the items convince the others, who usually want the items, to accept a lower or higher price.....Just stick to your guns and don't trade for anything less then YOU think it is worth......
Items are worth what someone else is willing to give for them. I have both Wacky jeans and the 2005 purple web witch hat but I wouldn't take a million KC for either one. I guess that makes their worth to be 1,000,000 KC+
Do keep in mind that the WIGEV is a WI standard, not a WW standard. No one on WW is obligated to follow our guide here. Trade for things you like and offer a value that is acceptable for you. If you don't like someone's offer, don't trade.
Also keep in mind that in the last few months Ganz has brought a whole lot of "retired" items back (for example Mr Moo's chocolate bar & thanksgiving dinner). Maybe that is why people are trying to push up the value of their things - get as much as they can for them, before Ganz decides to make them available again.
