Question Answered: Graphics/Photoshop Questions

Hi there WI, I have a few questions related to graphics/Photoshop. If anyone could help out, I'd be super happy.

For my first question, I was wondering how I could add borders to avatars if I make them on Photoshop?

My second question is where can I find the brushes that look sort of like a piece of paper [crumpled-ish] that is plastered to the icon?

Thank you so much!

Sorry in advance... I am really bad at graphics. But I will try to help you out as I can! :]

Question one-
Here's a link that can teach you how to put a quick border on:
Peachpit: How to Add A Quick Border In Photoshop Elements 6 > How to Add A Quick Border In Photoshop Elements 6

Basically you zoom out, use the crop tool to put a box around the image, drag the edges of the box onto the gray how you want the border to be, select the foreground color you want for the border, and click the check button! :]

Second question-
I've never done this before, but here's a link:
Wrinkled Paper | Special Effects

I will try this out on a picture and let you know how it works!

EDIT: Okay, it works great! It doesn't tell you how to make a photo look wrinkled, but it does tell you how to make a wrinkled colored paper.

This guide is great and will tell you everything about wrinkled paper effects on an image!
http://photoshoptutorials.ws/photosh...to/Page-3.html

If you want it more or less wrinkled, just play around with the height/angle until you get it how you want.

If you still need help, you could always PM the image and I could try to edit it for you!
