Here's a guide to making good posts, but to me a good post is informative, helpful and not just a sentence long.
For example, before I became a Gift Trainee, I had to go to the thread above and post in the areas that are mentioned in that thread. The areas that are good to post in. There are some examples of "fluff" posts in that thread above, but here's one.....

Wow!!

Here's another:

I didn't know that!

Here's another:

Good job!

Those don't really contribute to anything and don't really help the thread starter. For congratulations, you could do something like this....

"Congratualtions! That's great!"

Or something like this:

"Congratulations! That's great! I hope you have fun with your new webbies! I would think of some games to play with them, and then maybe you could get a younger brother or sister to play with you. Also, how about when you get tired of them, you could donate them to a local hospital or charity or something like that?"

Which one is more of a helpful, informative post?

When I first started trying out to be a Gift Trainee, I really tried to make my posts more than 2 sentences, and tried to really get into the post and not just say a sentence and that's it. To me, a good post is one that is more than 2 sentences, and is (like mentioned above) helpful, informative and really contributes something to the ongoing conversation.

A post that gives helpful information, is considered a 'Good Post" or as some people call it "Non Fluff" A fluff post is like

"LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

A good post is one with strong, informative paragraphs and sentences, one that provides plenty of information, and one that is helpful and kind. Here is a link that tells you more about it: http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...gifted-327735/

Technically, this thread is for members trying to become Gifted, but it still has lots of information that can help you make good posts.

Happy posting!

I hope I helped!
