Default Unanswered: GIMP question. :)

You know when you go to make those 'lines' across your image with the video tool on GIMP? [filters>distorts>video] For some reason it's not working for me.....The 'video' selection is greyed out and won't let me click it. Does anyone know why this isn't working? I tried it on a .jpg, an .xcf, and a .png just to see if it was affected by file type for some reason, no difference. Can anyone give me pointers?

Hm, are you sure you're clicking on the layer with the image? Maybe that's why it's not working..
I'm not really sure what else could be the problem.

If you'd like, you can message me your image and I can add the lines for you while you sort it out? (:

Like horcruxes said, you need to select your layer to put the lines on. If that does not work, restart GIMP or your computer. Let us know if that works or not to see what else could possibly help.
