Default Unanswered: GIMP Font Help ?

Hey, I recently downloaded GIMP, and I have been having troubles transfering fonts from dafont.com to GIMP. I have followed a tutorial in the 'Guides and How To's' section, but it won't paste into the 'Fonts' under My Computer... I have Windows Vista, if that matters.
I would greatly appreciate an explanation, or some help on this.
Thanks! (:

Hmmmm I use that website and its always worked perfectly fine for me... maybe your storage space is full... you may want to consider cleaning out your storage. If that isn't it maybe your type of computer doesn't support downloading fonts for dafonts.com...

If you properly installed the font into your computer, you shouldn't have a problem finding it in GIMP.

I think the problem is, is that I accidentaly opened it with something else instead of True Fonts (or whatever it's called), and now I can't find true fonts...

Hit The Download Button (duh! xD) And Open it, It Should Show Different Things, Double Click The True Type Font One. It Should Show A Window With "The Quick Brown Fox Jumped Over The Lazy Dog" In The Downloaded Font Selected. Click The Button Install, Wait, And If You Have GIMP Open, Close It And Re Open It After The Font Is Downloaded. The Fonts Should Appear In Alphabetical Order, So Find It And It Should Work

First, download the font by clicking the "Download" button Click on the folder that you get and click "Extract all files" and then "OK, Next, Etc." Then, go to "My Computer" then "Local Disk C" and then "WINDOWS" and drag the extracted folder into the "Fonts" folder, then it should work!
