Okay, so all me webkinz are fine, healthy.. So i'm playing games in the tournament arena and after I got done playing a game, I found a suprise! My webkinz Kent was sick! Like how did he do that?? He was fine before I played the game. His stats were in the 90's range. I went to Dr.Quack.. And its like the first time any of my webkinz got sick. It was kinda gross hearing Dr. Quack say " Blow your nose and lets see what we can find. That green stuff means you have sniffles. That reminds me, i'llc have pea soup for lunch!" Ewwwww.... So Kent had the sniffles, and I bought medicen for 25 kc. (I didn't have alot of money so i'm even more sad...) My question is how fast, or recent can your pet get sick? Can you prevent them getting sick? Do they have to get sick?? ????????? ♥♦Queenofblosomes♦♥
all you can do is insure that your pet's healthy meter remains pretty high, and feed your pet HEALTHY foods; not cake or chocolates or ice cream, etc.
you also should visit Dr. Quack regularly to make sure your pet is still healthy.
I've had my pets get sick when they were at 100, 100 and 98 - it seems to just be random whenever it occurs. I only feed them the farm fresh vegetables and fruits that I grow, and then their pet specific food and sometimes the foods they say make them happy on their biography and a few other treats from the I Love My Webkinz every day. Apparently it doesn't matter that much what you feed them, it seems. I just kind of keep my fingers crossed that they will not get sick, because I haven't figured out what happens to trigger it!
It helps if you put your pet to bed before you go off to play, but ever since the HHH glitch occurred I have noticed that all of my pets get hungrier faster. Try switching around with your pets not just using one and that will also help and the really big one is to put your pet to bed before you log off. But other than that it just seems to be fairly random.
I'm like everyone here and think it's just random. That said, I have noticed the longer a game is in the arcade or tournament arenas, the greater the chance your pet could get sick. Bamboo break I've had the pet go to 96 before in just the one game (I also made it all 12 levels. ).
It's interesting to hear though about Dr. Quack's diagnoses though... especially the one with pea soup.
It's pretty random. There does seem to be a higher tendency for a pet to get sick after a long game, probably because the hunger meter would be down. Certain pets seem to get sick easier than others. Out of 12 pets on our account only 2 of them have ever gotten sick. And my daughter is purposely trying to make her pet sick so she can get the doctor's helper badge for taking it to Dr Quack; it's hunger meter is down to 0, and health is around 22, but it won't get sick - ironically it's happiness meter is still at 100. There's obviously not a lot of logic about this...
