Default Re: Getting rid of items that can't be sold?

When I decide I don't want the items in my account anymore, I want them GONE. I have never bought a specific item and then wanted to get rid of it. The things I don't want are challenge items, orphan items (parts of outfits) and icky items from Click to Wins, Peek-A-Newz, or Christmas Crackers to name a few.

I have called Webkinz Customer Support three times to have eStore items removed from my account. I have to give my account name, the owner's name and maybe the owner's birthdate, too. As long as they are satisfied that I have the right to remove items, they do it right then. Last time I had like 20 different items! She was surprised and wanted me to know I could never get them put back in and I was happy to be rid of them!

I think making a storage room would be a good idea. Or you could just wait and find a way to incorporate them into new rooms you make.

Hiya!
Unfortunately, it is virtually impossible to get rid of items that cannot be traded, sent via Kinzpost, or sold. You could buy a storage room and keep them in there if you wish, or I suppose you could call Ganz and get them to delete the items off of your account. However, with the second option you should be cautious, and remember that once the items are gone, they're gone for good.

For me, the worst one is over at the Ganz Estore.

Example:

Last year. 2011. Christmas. Lots of really neat things I wanted (and got!). {Unfortunately, some of them were items that didn't cross over to WW estore} Didn't notice at the time, but there was a week or two where they had one of those "Great Rewards: Buy however-many-points in items and get this-or-that for free" going on. (sigh) Wound-up with 5 of those video station desks, and they've just been hanging around stewing in my dock...

I try and hide them behind other items, you can't even tell their there It doesn't work for all but you can clear a few out of your dock that way.

Other than that you have to store them away or have Ganz remove them.

Good Luck!

Just try trading it in the trade room at the clubhouse, if you can't trade it then store it, if it's too big then keep it or put it in an empty room in your house called the "storage room".

Perhaps you could just trade for a better item or as Cheesy1 says: Just ask Ganz to delete the items off your account!

Default Re: Getting rid of items that can't be sold?

You know what, I have so many items that are stuck on my account for all eternity, it's ridiculous. I'm calling them "stuckies" now. Fortunately I like having my rooms organized.

I have seven bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, a backyard which is the only room I've bought with KC, and my last room is a storage room purely for stuckies I don't want, or unstuckies that I do.

Click the image to open in full size.

Here's how I decorated mine--I filled it with all my stuckies, and organized it. I put my wall stuckies on the wall, and included a Wshop dresser to store my stuckies clothing in.

I separated the rest of my stuff into MAZIN' Hamster stuff, Webkinz stuff, the cars, and the Queen of Stuff area. I also included a really cool way to enter the room using my valentine flowers in color coordination. And I even gave it garage wallpaper and flooring.

Sorry, but if you can't get rid of your things by any of the only four ways to get an item off your account:

Trade, sell, eat, or KinzPost--

You've got these stuckies...

forever.

Sorry about that. It's the problems we all go through with WW. Hope this helps you though!

Ooh! Yeah if Ganz listens then you've got a fifth way of getting rid of stuff. Good luck!
