Default Re: Getting rid of items that can't be sold?

Hi all!

Unicorn: what I once did was this: Make a new room, whatever size you can afford (I have a medium room). Put everything in it that you have but don't want...whatever furniture, prizes, all that. As far as clothes I bought a few bamboo storage chests (they're the cheapest that hold the mostest

If you have wallpapers and flooring you don't want, but one of the storage cabinets that hold 8 of those.

Then when you call Ganz, you can tell the person that you would like all the things in room <name> deleted. It makes it much faster and then in the future when you get things you don't want, just store them in this room again until you have enough to call Ganz again.

As everyone said though, please be totally positive 1000% sure you don't want them. Some of the things that can be traded (but maybe you just no longer want) might be valuable if you go to the trading room. (You can go to the WIKI section here on WI and look at the list of furniture or clothes to check what things are worth.)

Hope this helps!

Hi unicornhorn
I created a special storage room in my WW house that is only for items that cannot be sold or traded. Anything like that that I do not care to use at the time goes into that room. The room allows me keep all of those items in one place --and helps me remember that they are the group of items that I cannot get rid of (lol)

Hugs to you ♥mJb

Thanks everyone! I like Sleeping Awake's idea, doing both suggestions by putting them all in one room and telling Ganz to delete.

The trouble is the items that cannot be traded, mailed, or sold. There is no easy way to get them out of your account if you don't want them. I have an account with one pet on it - a dog. That account also has an e-store underwater item that I won. I can't purchase an underwater room to put it in, nor can I sell it, trade it or mail it. So it just sits in my doc. I have no plans on adopting another pet to that account, so I will never have a room to put it in.

And maybe all these calls will finally help Ganz to see it is a good idea to 1 - make a way to get rid of anything we no longer want, no matter the source, and 2 - give us some kind of massive storage option. I am fine if it costs a lot of KC and if it costs more kc everytime I access it. I just want something that can hold a few 100 of anything with a sortable list for easy finding of what you have in there. I already have more than a dozen rooms devoted to just storage. I am tired of my pet being a hoarder, but I also enjoy collecting. If I had such good storage, then I would have a place to put those items I don't want any more - like the 12th non tradedable item won in a daily event where I was hoping for somethign different.

I do the same thing.
Also you never know one day in the future Ganz might make them kinz-postable then you can trade them for something you really want. I would imagine it has to be annoying for all of us to keep calling just to get things deleted?? Something to think about.

You can stuff it in a draw. You can ask Ganz to remove them. You can trade 'most' items.I think you can send them to random people.

Items that can't be sold to the wshop also cannot be traded or sent to others so putting the items in a storage unit or asking Ganz to remove them are the only option. I guess I'm a hoarder but I would put them in a special room in case I want them later.
