Default Unanswered: Gardening questions

I have some questions about gardening and could not find an answer in WIki. Does it matter if you rake first or harvest first to get the most amount of produce? Because now that I have discovered what a kinzcash crop gardening is I want to maximize my harvest!
Also this is the first month since I got serious into gardening that I have had to skip a couple of days here and there and it seems like the harvest yields per possible harvest is down. I am not talking about weeds I know they just come and come but the actual ripen produce seems to lower yields. (EX 1 strawberry of carrot rather than the usual 3 to 5.) Am I imagining this or is it a wrist slap for daring to miss?

I have some tips for you!
It does not matter if you rake right before you harvest, but you must rake in a few days, or your plants will die. You don't have to water them though.
You will get different outcomes from different plants. Once I grew some plants all at once and they even grew at different rates.(They were all the same also!) You will find that they will differ even if they were planted at once, and taken care of, they will have different amounts of produce and that's perfectly fine. Hope this helps!

I don't think missing raking a day or two changes the yield. I believe everything you posted is kind of like believing in a lucky charm. The gardening program is just that, a computer program. And since WW is geared for children, I don't believe they would add subroutines into the garden program to make a poorly tended to garden yield less.

That said, I have many gardens. Sometimes I tend to them faithfully, other times, I miss a day or three. I never water, only rake and harvest. I have not noticed a huge difference in produce yields.

Each of my gardens have 89 to 90 plants. I have tried placing the arrow/basket in certain spots that some folks claim will yield the maximum harvest, and simply randomly placing the harvest basket.

When I compare a well tended garden to a poorly tended garden, or a deliberately placed basket to a randomly placed basket, the general harvest yield is very similar.

I have also tried tracking my harvest intake and comparing numbers that way. It may just be me, but I do not see a pattern on how to maximize a garden's yield. You get whatever the program decides to give you, just like the Wheel of Wow or Gem Hunt.

Missing raking doesn't change the yield.
