If you don't go on Webkinz, or garden in a while, your plants will die. Thats when the digging tool comes in handy!

Its true. You do not have to water. Although through experimentation, I found that you do seem to get more weeds if you don't water.

Everyone here is correct, only dig if your plants die. Digging resets the growth process, just as removing the plant to your dock would do.

Recently, I had some plants that were "out of sync" with each other. I had a patch of tomatoes, all were planted on the same day, but a few plants were not ready to harvest on the same day. I dug those up on the day I harvested the rest of the plants. It's a weird glitch that can sometimes happen. Digging is easier than removing them to your dock and putting them back.

Thank you for explaining what digging does. I have been wondering that myself.

I have been delaying harvests to allow other plants to catch up but digging may allow me to move on and cash in on some veggie sales earlier. I appreciate the education

You have the dig option if you don't tend the garden for over a week and it dies...otherwise it's not really an option for regular gardening

rather than digging ... you can hold off on harvesting for up to 4 days, then you wont lose any KC.

(if you read my Garden Guide, there's lots of info that you'll probably find useful. link is in my signature.)

Hi, I tried to access your Garden Guide by clicking on your signature (The box with the word Redbear) and it got a message that I do not have permission to access this page. All I want to do is read your gardening tips. I have a huge garden.
