Default Unanswered: Garden wierdness - inconsistent growth rates

When I went to garden this morning, my strawberry plants which were all planted at the same time are showing different stages of growth. They were all the same yesterday, but today some are small and some are large. What's up with that? Two different yards.

This started happening to my Pumpkin
Patches when I stopped watering and
just raked every day. It's ok though, they
just harvest on separate days.

I have a variety of plants, and multiples of each plant. I, too, have seen the growth rates are different, even though they were planted at the same time, watered, and cared for iin the same way.

I think there is a random factor added to make gardening more "realistic". Plants in nature do not beahave identically to each other, so maybe Ganz thought virtual plants should also be a little different!

if you have weeds and have to rake, then it delays the harvest time for those plants

I have two accounts and 8 yards. There has never been a difference before, with or without weeds.

That would be a little too memory intensive I think.
