We're "down" (with mega glitches, logged out repeatedly, etc.) for much longer than a week! If they DO get it up on the 17th- we're talking almost 3wks of issues by that time!

I've been on over 2yrs and your niece is right. Every holiday they have issues, especially at Christmas, and we too left webkinz world because of it the first christmas we were on (2006). Same things happening then although a bit worse- couldn't get logged in, glitches if we did get logged in, unable to get on to get our gift on Christmas day, spent the whole 2wks holiday break trying to get on and grew tired of trying. We stopped going to webkinz world for like 9mo back then because it was just too frustrating that it never worked! (at the time we didn't realize it was during holidays- we thought oh so this is how webkinz world is now, no thanks to that! LOL)

I think it's sad that now they are using the excuse of a holiday when they have been having issues for WEEKS. Oh we'll get it done someday but right now we're having a holiday. Well it's been going on for WEEKS before that holiday! *sigh*

Some people are waiting to adopt pet of the month because of so many issues. IF they get things fixed by the 17th (which I am doubtful of that...) that's over half the month gone by that they lost out on pet of the month activities and such. And are people supposed to know to wait THAT long for the POTM glitches to work themselves out? If they don't read WI they won't know to wait that long and will adopt and have their loot bag empty. geesh

As with all the other's before me....THANK YOU! This information is helpful. I realized that all holidays and the beginning of the month (with the POTM) is always full of glitches. My family loves their Webkinz but are so tired of the glitches. Hopefully Ganz will come up with something sometime soon! They've been up and running for a few years now....and they can save a lot of Webkinz lovers some stress and irritation . Thank you again for your research!!

Hm, sounds like Ganz needs to increase their capacity - they are making a fun product that everyone wants to be a part of! It is nice to get an explanation of the problem, so thank you so much for the post!

My WoW and gem hunt didn't work on the weekend, but they worked this morning. I think Ganz is starting to fix the glitches
