Default Unanswered: Frustrated at Please Wait...

Will Ganz ever be rid of this infernal Please Wait...??? I was cheated out of my Deluxe Prize machine game this morning and I'm not happy about it. When I clicked to receive my prize, the doors wouldn't open. I waited, and waited...5 minutes! I logged out and discovered the Please Wait message on the screen. Well, it only showed on the newspaper front, NOT on the Deluxe Prize Machine page!

I love being a Deluxe Member for all the little perks we get, but when they don't work it makes me wonder why they even offer these extra gifts. Will Ganz fix this and let the Deluxe members have another go at the Deluxe Prize machine today???

Unfortunately, the dreaded "please wait" has been around for a loooooong time and probably will never leave us entirely. I've been playing for almost 2 years and know exactly how you feel. I was cheated out of my deluxe prize last week in the same way!

If I'm going to the deluxe prize machine or spin the deluxe wheel I always clear my cache first and reboot my whole comp. If there is even the slightest hint of lag going on...I pull up the prize machine or wheel page and let it sit a few minutes before I take my turn. I just try to be sure everything is fully loaded before I hit that button. This usually works for me.

I hope this will help you. But you are not alone in this problem!

Oh, and no...chances are you will not get another go at it. Stinks, I know.

Thanks for the idea of clearing my cache -- next time before wasting a turn on the Deluxe prizes, I'll give it a whirl!

Keep your fingers (and paws!) crossed that someone will see this and give us another chance!!!

And here I thought I was the only one with this problem. Well, I guess misery does love company because I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one this is happening to.

Unfortunately, I don't think the dreaded "Please wait" will ever leave us. It drives me insane, and I've lost many chances to click on floating objects during things like the Fall Fest because of the "Please wait"! There's nothing that can keep it away entirely, but you could try clearing your cache every once in a while, and that will help with things. If you don't know how to do that, there's a guide in my signature that shows you how. Good luck!!

This "please wait..." sign has always been there and always will be. If you get this it may mean your computer or internet is slow, or both. Either that or it is ahloiday and so many people are trying to get online.
