I recently adopted my new adorable Spotted Leopard but when I opened his gift I received a not so happy surprise. My exclusive gift was the Gemstone Side Table. While this is a great item, I already received it when I adopted my Bat months ago. I thought that I had read on the Webkinz website that they will not give repeated exclusive items with adoption on the same account. So am I remembering wrong? Is this a glitch or is this normal? Has this happened to any of you? I just wanted to check before calling Ganz, any info would be greatly appreciated.
It's normal it's random every time, I think you are remembering wrong. They sometimes do give repeated exclusives so yeah. You can trade it for a better item

They don't repeat the POTM gifts on the same account.
I have a ton of ribbon and bows trees from adoptions...
It is normal to get repeats. I have multiplies of the Prismatic Chair and the 1000 KC Coin.
The only thing I have never got more than one of is the POTM gift.
Unfortunately everyone is right, you do get repeats of exclusives. I have gotten more elephant fountains, circle of friend topiaries, and strike-a-posey plants than I know what to do with. I'd rather have gotten that gemstone side table than any more of those.
