I don't think it likes Ganz' code but simply seems to handle the problem a littler better than IE.

How are getting multiple copies of Firefox to run? That's what I'm unable to do. Whenever I try to open additional copies, more tabs load instead of a second or third copy of Firefox. I don't know how to turn off the tabbed browsing feature.

That's bazaar-I just click the icon on my desktop and a new page pops up...I only get an extra tab if I click the tab....

The only way i can get separate pages on Firefox is to open the Webkinz page, load an account, then X out of the load screen. Then I click on the Firefox icon again, load the Webkinz page, and do it again. I've had as many as six windows open that way....but, like dragonbird, I can't move them around on top of one another without their freezing big time.
FYI....it will eventually unfreeze, but you could grow a long beard waiting LOL

We use three browsers at once - ie, a beta of firefox, and safari. All are up to date.

That error has shown up on all 3 for the last few weeks, but is much worse with the fest.

Under Glitch Reports [a subthread at the top of this section], another computer professional is
basically complaining about the same thing.

It's frustrating, but unless they hire people who really know how best to program to use FlashPlayer,
I think we're stuck.

Wow, this is just too fliippin' bazaar! I use the same web addresses as you guys do to log on. When I click on the Firefox desktop icon the first time, the program reopens my last browsing session. When I click on the desktop icon a second or third time, those same darn tabs continue to reopen in the same window alongside the first set. No new windows -- just more & more & more tabs!!

There has to be a setting somewhere that's making Firefox function this way for me, within either the program itself or one of my add-ons. I've already done searches to no avail in Firefox's customer support base. Next step is for me to spend additional time hunting through all the various settings.

Thanks for your help, and I'll let you know what I find. A lot of WI members prefer Firefox to IE, so I figured the program must be able to open additional windows so you can view multiple WW account windows side by side. Just needed to hear confirmation that these assumptions were indeed true before I spend more time picking through all the settings.

I do get it restoring old sessions sometimes if I've had an error, but I am always able to use the desktop icon to open a brand new page...there has to be something that just isn't set right-or maybe you have an older version (mine is fairly new since I just recently broke down and installed it for the sole purpose of using WI and WW on it-they like FF much better than IE-lease for me anyhow)

Good luck-keep us posted! I'm most intrigued by this odd dilema!

I missed the glitch report on this issue when I checked there after the snowflakes started flying. Thanks for letting me know so I can add my input.

And you're absolutely right about about their programmers. We're all stuck until Ganz hires people who know how to work with flash code. I've been thinking the same thing since around the time of the Ghost Hunt. It confounds me that a company whose entire bottom line is tied to flash programming can't seem to hire anybody who knows what they're doing.
