Default Answered: eStore decorations not appearing in dock

Bought several decorations. On one account, I put in codes for three items and didn't notice
that only the tree was appearing in the dock. Put the tree in the room and went to look for
the base and topper and they weren't there.

On another account, I tried only one code. Again, got the tree but not the base which was
the item code.

Nothing except the bare tree appearing in dock.

Anyone else having this problem?

They're not supposed to appear in the dock. The decorations can only be accessed on the screen where you decorate your Christmas tree. Just click on your tree and you should get something like this:

Click the image to open in full size.

Only the Tree and the Window (if you put in 25 decoration codes) go in your dock.

They're not supposed to appear in the dock. The decorations can only be accessed on the screen where you decorate your Christmas tree. Just click on your tree and you should get something like this:

Exclamation eStore Items Not Appearing in Dock!

I purchased a "Plenty of Presents" Collection, along with four ornaments. When I entered the code for each one it correctly opened the right thing, but then nothing ever appeared in my dock except an empty Christmas tree - no four ornaments; no two ornaments from the "Plenty of Presents" Collection. No Tree Base, No Tree Topper, No Garland, NO NOTHING!! But, now I've "used" these codes - AND my POINTS and I didn't get anything! I even logged out and then back in and then logged out and rebooted my machine and logged back in and still have nothing but one empty tree. (Not to mention that I'm still stuck with last year's Christmas tree - wish they could have found a way to let me add new ornaments to it without getting a whole other tree. So, now, I've got used codes, no points left, and no items in my dock. Why does it feel like every time I try to give them a chance, Ganz rips me off and gives me no customer service in return? I love my Webbies, but I've about had it with their "glitches".

You have to put the Christmas tree in a room, and walk your pet up to it. A window will pop up showing you your editing options for decorating the tree.

They haven't ripped you off, you just need to follow the above steps to enjoy your new tree

Thanks for this post, I was going to comment that I had the exact same problem, but tomorrow I'll try to interact with my tree and see if it works. I already sent Ganz a problem report through thier customer service link, but I really appreciate the info, I was so ready to start decorating the tree in Santakinz room!

There was a member that was having a problem with browsers. They had to switch from IE to FF in order to edit the tree. Placing it in a room and having your pet walk up to it should do the trick though! Have fun!!!

You need to go to the main page - click on Customer Service - then fill in the code for each item - I did that last night but have not heard back yet. When there are a lot of Glitches it takes them a while to fix them.

In the past, when I have submitted problem, it has taken several days, sometimes two or three requests - but it did get fixed.

But I purchased about 5 tree bases - so I only have ONE tree to use them? that is sad.... I wanted to put up 4 or 5 trees....

Duh! I remember now that's how I did it last year. Too bad I can't give Cindy that extra tree I'm stuck with!

(I still feel a little ripped off with all the glitches - and it's even worse when they're common repeat glitches that "happen all the time" - we're making them a lot of money and instead of paying their programmers better or hiring more they're using the money to make new webbies, clothes, etc. when I think a little TLC spent on the site would be the right thing to do. Just, my opinion...)
