Default Unanswered: Error created by WI parser when posting links?

I was trying to post a link to a game particular game guide:

http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/f208/winning-cash-cow-trophy-20-games-175479/

But when I let WI turn it into a link like this: http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...-games-175479/

It automatically shortens the url, and then the link (even though it SAYS the same thing) seems to go to the main forum instead. Not very helpful that way. If you just paste the plain text version of the link in your browser address bar it works fine to go to the correct thread.

Any idea what WI is doing? I'm using Internet Explorer.

By the way, it only seems to happen after the post is edited. The very first time (even creating this message) it worked properly, and even substituted the thread title for the link (second one above). Broken now though.

Sheesh, the automerge double post thing corrected it again. I have no idea what the parser is doing to it.

Well, I've answered my own question. Immediately after saving an edited post, the link as displayed in the updated thread does not work. But after refreshing, or coming back later, it is fine.

Interesting, if you apply a different colour to the hyperlink, the parser seems to ignore it (therefore it does not cause a problem, but also does not substitute the thread title). For example:

Yes, it is a new feature that WI added I think. I actually like it because there are no links that are really long and stretch the page, and you know what the link is to. Sorry if you don't like it.

That's happened to me too. Personally I think it's useful, so you know which page you're going to
