Default Unanswered: Editing posts in Google Chrome

In my experience, Google Chrome is so much faster than Microsoft's Internet Explorer! Especially on the computer I'm on, I really notice the difference if I have to use IE for something. Unfortunately, now that I've reopened my GE, I'm really noticing a problem. If I use IE, typing and editing posts seems to work as designed: WYSIWYG editing, shortcuts like Ctrl-I for italics, etc. If I use Chrome, I have to add brackets and HTML tags to format -- and editing my GE is a nightmare of tags to wade through. I checked my options in WI, and it looks like HTML editing is off; the only difference is which browser I use. Can anyone help with suggestions to make WI editing work in Chrome? I don't know how much longer I can slog through pages in IE!

I've been having the same problem, & I'm actually using Chrome right now.
Whenever I want to edit my posts, change my sig, etc., I use Mozilla Firefox.
My dad usually uses it, but, I would highly suggest it.
Here's the downlaod link:

It's very similar to IE, but I prefer it over IE any day.
You can also get a bunch of different add-ons, & themes from their website.

Happy editing!

Oh, yeah, I had forgotten about Firefox. It's not as streamlined as Chrome, but on this computer anything's better than IE. Thanks!

I use Firefox because I got all that coding/tags every time I edited anything here with Chrome...other than that I liked Chrome, but I can't deal with all that whenever I edit or copy and paste...too messy.

I know what you mean. IE is very slow, compared to Google Chrome once I started using it. I just noticed the other differences though. I don't know how to fix it, but I definitely know what you mean.
