Hiya Webkinzluver :)

If you look here - http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...y-page-470293/ leopardllizard has created a pretty cool guide on how to customize your My page.

There is also a guide here - http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...y-page-414822/ by lilyrose, but it has not been updated in awhile and missing some of the newer features. :)

Welcome to Webkinz Insider. I am going to explain to you how to make an album first and then how you would change your profile background. There is a problem on Webkinz Insider right now so if this does not work for you it might be a glitch and you may have to wait a few days.

This is how you make an album.

If you want to upload a room or pet from WW do a screen capture. It is the key on your keyboard with Prt Scr on it. Next open the program "paint". Do a search if you cannot find that program. Then command paste the screen capture into "Paint". Next, crop the picture to the size you want by putting a box around the area you want and then selecting crop. Then save your new image as a gif (or JPEG) to your desktop.

If you want a picture you found on the web just right click it and save it to your desktop.

Next go to your profile page and click show albums. At the top left you will see "Add Album". Here you can give your album a name and decide which type of album you would like it to be.

Next open your album then double click on upload pictures. Click on browse and select the images you have saved to your desktop. Click upload pictures. When your picture comes up in a new window click "Save Changes".

This will bring up your album pictures and your new image(s) should be there.

Including your new images in a thread.

When you want to use them to perhaps include in a thread just double click your new image. When it opens go to the text under Picture URL. Do a Control "A" (Select all) then Control "C" (Copy).

Go to the thread where you want to insert a picture. Go to the reply area at bottom and select "Go Advanced". Enter your text as usual and when you are ready to insert your image select the box at top "Insert image" (It looks like a letter). Paste in the URL from your image and voila your image should be there. You can check by previewing your post.

Good Luck making your album.

This is how you put a background image on your profile page.

First I find an image I like and copy it to my desktop. Make sure it is a JPEG or a Gif and it cannot be too big.

Next go to your profile page and open one of your albums. Double click on upload pictures. Click on browse and select the image you have saved to your desktop. Click upload pictures. When your picture comes up in a new window click "Save Changes".

This will bring up your album pictures and your new image should be there. Double click your new image. When it opens go to the text under Picture URL. Do a Control "A" (Select all) then Control "C" (Copy).

Go back to your User profile page. Double click "Customize Profile". In the very first section you will see background image. Do a Control "A" (Select all) then Control "V" (Paste). Select the Repeat function that works for your image. Click the save right underneath it. Go to the very bottom and click "Save Changes". Go back to your user profile and your new image should be there.

You may have to play around with the repeat to make it work best for you.

Have Fun!!

I have to say though, I have been trying to add the images for repeat backgrounds on my page viai the albums route and even though the meet the size and file type requirements, they end up showing red in the box and won't apply. I even contacted WI about it directly, but never heard back, so you will have to let me know if this works for you. My daughter's page has the mountain image next to her URL box, but mine doesn't. Nonetheless, when I copy and paste the URL code and whether or not I try to repeat it, it doesn't work. So I am stuck with plain old colors for now. I have tried different images from different places, different sizes, moving ones, still ones, all to no avail. Hope it works for you. Will keep my fingers crossed. If it does not work, at least I know I am not alone.
