I got this from doing a "google" search..its not because I know spanish..LOL I know some from what I remember from high school but thats the extent of it! I wish you lots of luck on your test..I hope the below may be somewhat helpful..do an online search for "using spanish verb ser"

------------
Ser and estar can both be translated as "to be." Here is the English verb, fully conjugated:
  • to be

    I am
    you are
    he/she is
    we are
    you-all are
    they are

Default Re: does anyone speak spanish???

I speak Spanish too and very well because is my native language. This are the "secrets" of the verb ser:

This verb is the equivalent in english To Be.

Simple Present
I am= Yo soy
you are= Tú eres
he/she is= El/ Ella es
we are= Nosotros somos
you-all are= Ustedes son
they are= Ellos son

Simple Past
I was= Yo fuí
you were= Tú fuiste
he/she was= El/Ella fué
we were= Nosotros fuimos
you were= Ustedes fueron
they were= Ellos fueron

Simple Future
I will be= Yo seré
you will be= Tú serás
he/she will be= El/Ella serán
we will be= Nosotros seremos
you will be= Ustedes serán
they will be= Ellos serán

In spanish the verb to be can be translate like "ser" o "estar".
When you use "ser" in Spanish is for permanent condition and "estar" is for temporary condition.

For example: You are blind. In Spanish maybe "Tú eres ciego"( he never can't see) or "Tú estás ciego" (for a short time, then you can see again).

Did you need more help? PM me.
