Default Answered: Does anyone know what a "Redirect Loop" is?

Sometimes when I click on certain threads, it won't go to the thread. It'll say that it's a redirect loop..? Has that ever happened to anyone? And it's not a characteristic of any thread, it's at random. And I'm not saying it's happening all the time. But has this happened to anyone and/or does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

You're probably using Google Chrome as your browser and you're trying to look at a thread that has a ~ in the title. It's a bizarre glitch affecting that one browser.

If so, just point the thread out to a staff member and we can remove the symbol from the title.

Ahh, so that is why that happens! I have gotten that a few times but didn't know what it meant either. Thanks for the explanation.

Sometimes if the thread has a "~" in it says that.

That happened to me.
I use GC. Sometimes "tildes" (~) mess it up
and what do I get? A redirect loop. O_o
For some reason the tildes mess up.
You could ask a thread owner to
take it out of their thread title.

Ohhhh. I didn't know that. I was getting confused because it wasn't letting me go to the thread. Thanks everyone!
