let me know what you find out because I need a solution for my mom's account also. We have tried all different kinds of computers and it does not matter which computer you are on.. her account has "please wait" issues and can't get her stuff out of storage. I think just certain accounts are having problems... I don't understand why Ganz can't fix it though, they just tell us that it is working fine when they are on, which it can't be.. :-(
I have over 200 items in my dock It loads most of the time but sometimes it doesn't work as well. It could possibly depend on the browser. Try clearing all cookies/cache/history and try again. If that doesn't work, try to download Firefox because I've found it works the best
Hmm... I have over 300 items and they load up every time. I wonder why one account not load up on the same computer?? Hm... I did find that my son's account does have the "please wait" more often but it will load up eventually. I wonder if there's an 'item' in there that has trouble for you?
It isn't the number of items in your dock... it is just a glitch on some accounts. One of our accounts has that problem too. I've cleared the cache, logged in and out a ton of times, wshop, kinzpost, loading from in the room... nothing seems to work. Quite annoying! I'd like to feed my hungry pet but I can't and I can't see how much winterfest stuff I've caught!
Apparently Ganz does suggest that you keep items in your dock under 100. Usually people don't have problems until they get several hundred though. My dock froze up once when I had over 1000 items in it (unsold harvests). I logged in from a faster computer, and eventually I got in, and sold all those strawberries. You could try reducing items by putting away the items you can see in your dock; depending on which items they are, you can put them in fridges or closets or in your room. If you can get the number down a bit that might help.
My sister had the same thing.... Any time she click Get Items from Storage, that was it.... Please Wait and it wouldn't go away...
She was able to log on mine and my sons accounts fine and we have no trouble and could not log on hers.
She called Customer Service and after many calls and waiting to be called back, it was about 2 weeks later she got a call.
Turns out her trouble was the strawberry seeds she had in her dock... She was selling them. She still had under 100 item in her dock, but once the rep removed the seeds and the rest of the strawberries from the yard everything was ok and works perfect...
Reps tell you different things, but that rep told her than there was an issue w/ the strawberry, donut, and collie seeds... They were "Acting up"...
Obviously that was my sisters issue, and hers works perfect now.. No more Please Wait..
I suggest that if you are still getting it to call them and have them look into that account
My guess is that it is just his account right now. Mine has that problem occasionally the last few months but then later it will be fine. I'd try at different times of the day. Yesturday everything was slow on my account and then by 9:30PM it was back to regular speed. The other accounts were fine.
Another thing I did once with dock that wouldn't load (around 1500 items-mostly berries) was to slowly empty it by selling things or moving things into rooms while I could see them. Then I'd log out and do it again with the new things that showed up in the dock. Once I got the pool and beds out of the dock, it started to load again. It was really time-consuming but finally worked.
I've heard that Ganz recommends 100 or less items.
It is not due to the items in your dock, this is a WW issue. I have been having the same problem for the past 2 days (more than usual), but then I also have other issues going on in both my accounts due to stuck pets or items also making my rooms inaccessible.
