Default Unanswered: Do I have enough non-fluff posts to be a trainee?

Do I have enough non-fluff posts to be a Webkinz Insider Gift Trainee? I know you need 50. I'm not sure which of my posts are "fluff." Any response will be greatly appreciated!

Just apply and find out! If you don't get accepted, just try again later. No harm done!

I don't want to do that, because if I am not accepted, I can't apply for two months.

I didn't go through all your post but your post look good to me. I think I applied about the same time you did too. If you are that worried, apply at the 100 mark. Some will be "fluff" but most of your post are not... but no one knows what they are really looking for. There are people who say they have 50 good post but still don't get in and have to reapply. Like I said, you never know unless you apply. Did you read Gingerly's thread on this? It's here:

If you are worried about it, make some good, helpful posts and take it up to 100. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

People say there is a 2 month wait for the next time you can reapply but I don't see that anywhere. The only people who have a 2 month wait are those who were accepted and then drop out. They have to wait 2 months. Correct me anyone if I am wrong but it says so on the rules.

7. In order to ensure that all GTs are completely trained before becoming fully Gifted, the number of GTs will be limited. The limit will be determined by the GTs' rate of learning and how many GTs the Gifted Coaches can effectively maintain. If the TS is full, it may take a while for approval. You will be notified when space is available. Please be patient and realize that the better trained each Gifted member becomes, the safer and more fun the GE becomes for all to enjoy. If by the second month of you being GT'd, you have not set up a gift thread, or traded, then you will be removed from the Training section. After which time, you may reapply, but will need to wait a required 2 months.

Try posting your inquiry on Gingerly's thread, she can answer your questions better.

What I did, before applying, is this: I went to My Posts in the banner, and I read all my posts with a severe eye. It's a sobering thing to do. It's so much easier to fluff than to be really helpful! I counted them, and waited till I had more than 50... maybe 70 to be on the safe side.

Good luck!

What I did was for a while all I did was visit the Somebody Help thread (here) and kept trying to help people out. That way I knew all the posts I did were good helpful posts and not "fluff" posts. But also-from what I understand, you are supposed to make sure u still contribute and make good posts even after being accepted. Good Luck!!

Default Re: Do I have enough non-fluff posts to be a trainee?

I applied when I had around 100 total posts and was accepted within a couple days. I tried to make an effort when posting to add "new" information - not just to repeat what had already been said. Also if there were several options given and I had one that had worked, I would agree that that had worked for me.

The Help section is a good place to post, but if you like to play certain games, you can probably offer some good advise in the sections for those games as well.

I just got the note that I am approved to be gifted, so as soon as I finish up my last trade in the trainee section, I am moving on up. The GT is a lot of fun. There is a huge learning curve at first, but the coaches are right there to help you out. Good luck!
