I'm not exactly sure what you mean by Admins having more "power"? Staff is staff. As far as a member's personal experience on WI goes, there isn't a difference between mods and admins. The additional capabilities of admins are generally things that happen behind the scenes.
wouldn't that be considered a global moderator then? I mean they have more power as in usually admins on forum sites have more things they can do in the control panel, such as banning people, etc.

I thought Admins could do more things than mods? Like banning, deleting accounts, changing usernames, etc. ?

I don't know about the Global Moderator vs. Moderator question. What I know, which is different from your first answer, is that I can and do moderate anywhere on the site.

Admins can definitely do more things than mods -- but some of what you listed is still within the capabilities of a moderator on this site.

My point was that, for the purposes of a dictionary, there really is not much that a WI member can need to have done that they couldn't go to EITHER a moderator or an admin to make happen.

I guess I'm just reluctant to draw a lot of distinctions between the two roles because the differences that do exist are things that we, as a staff, sort out internally. If a WI member needs something, they can reach out to any member of staff without being concerned with what the capabilities of that staff member might be.

Moderator (Mod) – These people can edit and delete posts and threads. You want to be careful what you say….they can change it! These people will usually work in one section of the forum.
Administrator (Admin) – They are about the same as Mods, except they work in the entire forum, not one part.

Here is my definition's of Mods and Admin's. Is it good?

I would suggest changing the "work in one section of the forum" part, because most mods on WI work globally, on the whole forum.

Generally, admins have mre "behind-the-scenes" power, such as editing the site itself, the coding, banning people, promoting people to higher ranks, etc. Moderators are usually in charge of looking over the forums, and making sure things aren't going wrong.
