Question Unanswered: Did support ask for your password?

I just received a reply from Support@webkinz. I have had an item "stuck" outside a room for a week now. Normally I just log off and back on and it is fixed. Since this did not work I emailed support. So anyway, they replied today and suggested to log off and back on. Then they said if that did not work they would need me to send my username, password, and room name item is stuck.

So my questions is has anyone else had support ask them to send their password via emai? I am wary to send it.

Recently I had a problem adopting a free trading card pet. In their email to me, it asked me for my username, secret code , date of birth, etc. I assumed secret code meant password. I did email them back with it but when they finally called me - they only asked me for my username and said they did not need my password. Now my situation was different, they just gave me a new adoption code. They might need your password to go onto your account to fix your problem. Anyways, to answer your question - yes I did email them my password but I was leery of doing so also.

Thanks for the reply. Follow up questions: After they gave you your code have things acted normal with no weird activity on you account. And did you change your password after issue fixed.

It's been a week & 1/2 or so and everything has been fine on my account, no weird activity that I can find. I haven't changed my password but now that you bring it up maybe I should...

One of my daughter's room had a plant stuck outside for a week or two. We finally sent a note in the contact us section of the newspaper and they fixed it. I never spoke to a representative or e-mailed them.
