Dead Corn Plants

Yesterday after the update, I logged on and found one of my well cared for corn plants had died. This morning the other one was dried out and dead. :'( Has anyone else encountered this? Is it just like pets randomly getting sick Because I also experience that, regardless of how carefully I care for them. Upon further thought I realized the plants died on the day they were going to be ready to harvest. So instead of farm fresh corn, I got dead, dried up plant.

I've never heard of that happening to crops... usually it only happens if you let them go 4 days (I think that's the magic number) without weeding, watering or harvesting. But to just randomly happen, I've not heard of that. (Yes, it happens to the pets, they randomly get sick- but that's WW programing to make you visit Dr. Quack). Just dig up your corn plant and replant it. HOpefully this'll stop happening to you

I have had something similar happen to some of my strawberries. When I try to rake the obvious weeds on a few patches of strawberries it won't let me. it says good growing when I inspect the plant but within a few days the plant dies. I have 1-3 of these bad patches in each of my 3 garden yards. This has been going on for about a week now. I don't know what is causing it. Probably just another WW glitch. I hope Ganz fixes this problem soon :(

I haven't had that happen, but sometimes I have a plant that is not recognized when I garden. I just leave the garden and go right back and it is fixed. Yesterday there was a ripe pumkin that I could not harvest until I did this.

Re: Dead Corn Plants

Sometimes on random squares of my garden I am not able to actually take care of that particular plant. Leaving the room and coming back in fixes that problem for me and then I am able to rake/harvest that plant...If however, that doesn't help I suggest contacting Ganz.

Sometimes, I also have the problem with the corn plants that the ones in the back are growing at a different rate than the ones in front of them. If this is the case for you, you cannot reach the plant "behind" the tall corn in front of it-you may have to rearrange your garden so all the corn plants are in the back because they do get tall, and then you cannot reach the ones behind them to take care of them...

Good luck!

Today I was tending to my nieces garden for her (she can't get on as often as I do), and YIKES- instead of a farm fresh corn ready to harvest, her plant was dried up and dead. This is either a bizarre coincedence, an insanely specific computer virus, or Ganz is out to get my families' corn plants. Has no one else had this problem?

I'm not sure about the dead plants (i don't garden often) but i did encounter my pets getting randomly sick these days...I'm not sure why but they seem to be getting sick more often now and then than a couple months ago, even though they have above 90 in all stats. Hopefully, it's just a minor glitch
