Glad you found your help! And when you close this thread, it'll be because it's been answered.

Having a Closed Thread in nothing to be ashamed about (I have about 20 of them, and I feel nothing when they close). You can simply ask a moderator/administrator for it to be open again! It means that no one can post in your thread (exept mods and admins) It happened becayse of lots of things; inactivity, an admin closed it, or in Somebody Help! threads, you close them yourself. It doesn't affect anyone in either way unless it was a really popular thread and people really liked it.

Hello! To answer your questions..
A Closed thread is nothing to be ashamed of.
A Closed thread just means
1) If you have asked a question, it has been answered. You can choose Best Answer or a Mod may do so for you.
2) The topic you brought up has come to a conclusion, because enough people have answered for you to pick a best answer, or for someone to pick it for you.

I think I answered what a closed thread is and what it means. It happens should be in my summary as well. As far as does it affect anything or anyone- It affects all of WI in my humble opinion, because it stays there as "Answered" and you can review it at your heart's desire.

Hope this helps- Being *Helpful.. That's ME!!

Ashamed?! No way, no how. It means that the conversation has run its natural course, or that the thread was inactive for a while, or a variety of other reasons. Nothing bad.

It does not affect your WI bucks, your reputation, or your post count.
