I found both the bracelet and necklace at a store two days ago. I asked to woman this very same question, and she assured me that they were OK. But, to be on the safe side I am not giving these to my daughter until I speak with someone from ganz. I suggest you do the same!!! My moto better safe than sorry
i have no idea if the necklace's have lead in them but
when we herd about it me and my mom googled it and we found were people had checked them with a lead test and they were 9.7 and the highest they can be without being toxic is 6.0!
Remember that not everything on the internet is true.
I think that it's okay, just be a little cautious, but they probably discontinued it to be on the safe side, just in case so they wouldn't be sued. Some people sue for the smallest of reasons, so Ganz was just trying to be safe so that their webkinz could go on.
