Default Unanswered: Caring Valley - Code missing inside tag???

I got the April Caring Valley Panda today, just in time. Except I just cut off the special Caring Valley tag, and the code says only "SAMPLE".

What does this mean? Isn't this tag supposed to have a real code like the Webkinz Cares tags? I only have a day to figure this out before it switches to the May tree. Help!

I would call the store you bought it from and ask if they sold you their sample animal. That is the only thing I can think of.

I was in another thread like this call Ganz and tell them. Make sure you have the code for your pet and your sample code and everything I think they will help.

Sorry! Go to the store and tell them, show them the tag and they should give you a new one. Or you could contact Ganz. Hope you figure it out!

Ok, I finally figured out the right words to search and found two other threads here discussing a similar situation. I guess Ganz has to snail mail me a new tag. I won't get that in time.

I also bought a May Caring Valley Poodle. If I enter that code today, will it get me the April tree, then I can enter the one Ganz sends in the mail sometime in May to get the May tree?

The store I bought it from is closed, but I am definitely going to call them tomorrow. I already emailed the manager just in case she checks email from home.

Maybe you will get it in time if they email you the code.

You should be able to use the code from the poodle today and still get April's tree. They are not month specific. Its just the animal they come on. Just like the Webkinz Cares animal, they came out each month, but it didn't matter when you redeemed the code.
