2 people made me me siggies with my name in bubble letters and when I tried tp make it my siggy,it only gave me the link to my siggy not the actual siggy that they made me! I VMed the people who made my siggies and they said it was just my computer. But I am not sure. I am confused and angry. Please help me solve this problem.
Have you taken the siggie that was made for you and saved it to your desktop and then tried to upload it as your signature picture from there?
First of all, don't feel angry, I'm sure you'll figure this out. But I agree with Eltrabuzz1. If you are simply trying to right click and copy the siggie from the thread you got it from, then it won't work and can't be pasted into the siggie menu. You NEED to copy and SAVE the siggie to your own computer first. Then upload the siggie from YOUR computer when you want to personalize the signature.
The only other problem could be that the siggie being made is too large of a pixel size or requires too much memory to be displayed. The maximums for siggies are 450x150 pix, and
29.3KB. Also make sure you don't add any extra text under the siggie you were given. This increases the "total" size of the siggie. Hope this helps!
Right click the image and click where it says "Copy Image Address". Go to Edit Signature and near the bottom there'll be a place that says "Option 2". Right click in the empty box and click paste. Go down and click Preview. Then it should be shown in the little box. Click "Insert Signature Picture" and it should show up as a code. Then you can add text, links, whatever to it.
Or you can upload it from you computer by right clicking the image and clicking "Save As..." A box should show. Type in what you want the file name to be and click "Save". Go to Edit Signature and go down to Option 1. There should be a "Browse" button. Click that and type in the file name of the image and click "Open". Then Click Preview, "Insert Signature Picture", and the code should come up. Then you can do whatever with it.
