Default Unanswered: Can you change your country after you have created an account?

Hi all, I had another thread I posted last night, so I thought I would add a bit more information to this one.

I am unable to access KinzChat Plus, I have sent the parent confermation email and it says I now have access to KinzChat Plus, but when I go to the Clubhouse only the regular clubhouse is visabel, yes only one clubhouse is there.

I have been told that members outside of the US in non- english speaking countries dont have access to KinzChat Plus, but Im from Canada, so it should still work! Besides, all my sisters have acconuts from Canada, and they are able to use KinzChat Plus! So what should I do?

I'm sorry, but you can't The only thing you can do is create another account, and ask Ganz to reset your Canadian account (which would reset all of your items and KC) and transfer it into a U.S. account. However, I think you'll be able to keep your pets, so the only thing would be losing your items.

It may be related to what province or part of Canada you chose. Call Ganz tomorrow and ask. If your account is less than 30 days old, they can close it and you can start a new one with the correct information. If it's over 30 days old they may not be able to help. Call them and ask.

PS: You could always make a 2nd account and use that for KC Plus. There are lots of benefits to having two accounts including extra gift bags on holidays and two chances a day to do activities and buy Rares. Of course, you also have to buy an extra webkinz each year to keep that account active as well.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your country once you have created the account. But, you can always start another account. If your account is not over 30 days old, you could request to reset it. (You will lose everything.) Then, start a new account. It will be like, you never created the account, and never used those pet's codes.

Is there even a way to choose the province in Canada? I thought it was just like the United States - doesn't matter what state you are in, the activites are in Eastern time.

It should still be the EST time zone, but Ganz might make assumptions about language based on additional information.

Go make an account -You'll be able to get through the country screens before you get to the part where you'd need to enter a code.

Eventually, you'll get to a screen where it asks you to fill in your name, your date of birth and your gender. If you chose Canada as your country in the previous screens, there will also be a pulldown menu with options for you to narrow down which part of Canada you're in.

you can't change your country sorry i have a canadian account, i'm fine with Kinz Chat Plus... contact Ganz about it, see what they can do
