I would definitely click the 'x' to get out. You also should clear your cookies, but make sure you know your passwords for the sites you visit. Usually, tracking cookies can end up on your computer and can be considered "malware" and can cause all kinds of problems. Clearing out your temporary internet files, cache and cookies will solve a lot of problems.
Thanks guys. I didn't think it had anything to do with WI directly. I don't want to click on it either way. I flagged my post just to see if any of the admins knew what it was. It's almost like a virus itself since it won't stop coming up. I'll keep playing with my settings to see if I can fix it myself.
Actually, it does have to do with WI. First of all, I'd like to say once and for all, there are no viruses on WI, whether they be through the site or the ads.
The message you are seeing is due to a strange bug due to the interaction between Internet Explorer and one of our ad networks. I can't explain it, but I am working on it.. Basically, the way things work is we have an ad network try and find an ad to serve you. If it can't, it sends you to the next network, which is called a default.
For some reason, one of the ad networks doesn't actually execute the default when dealing with certain versions of internet explorer. Instead of executing the default file, it causes Internet Explorer to want to download it instead! Don't worry, it's nothing bad, not a virus or anything. Just click cancel, cause you won't be able to do anything with the file anyways! LOL
