eBay is great. I buy 95% of my pets there. Check out the feedback %. I wouldn't buy from anyone with less than 99.5% feedback. Be careful not to bid on the ones that say "code only" or "no plush" or "plush only".......unless you want that. I have bought two code only pets because I don't much care if I have the plush. The sellers email me the code right away and I'm on line with me new buddy.

I have had very good experiences with ebay purchases. Just make sure you check out the seller's feedback before you buy something My DD bought her Magical Retriever on ebay. It is really a great place to get those must have pets! I also bought a love puppy for another DD. The seller was donating the money to a charity, so I felt good about spending the money

Thank you everyone ! This has to be the most posted in thread I've ever made. Thank you BeeslyHalpert for the tip about the website where I can look up negative feedback. I've always wondered why eBay doesn't let you search up negative or neutral feedback, but this should do the trick.

That is a very good question! However, not easy to answer. It is a chance you take, but fortunatly, there is a feedback system in place for sellers, that you leave after a transaction. I think eBay buying is a decent choice for price, but there is some risk involed with eBay buyng and selling.
Thanks for posting this thread!

Usually they say if it does not have a tag. I just bought one from a similar listing and it states that you get the special gift and everything with it. I bought from this same dealer before and everything was fine. But if it does not say anything about the tag or unlocking anything on Webkinz, then just aske the dealer a question.

Then, if you don't get what you paid for, you can always file a grievance with Ebay and/or with Paypal after you give the seller a chance to rectify things.

You ask the seller if they have a tag, and it comes with it. Usually if they don't come with one, it says Plushie only, or No tag, or something like that. If they don't, you might try to find something else worth buying. I hope I helped!!

Well, if they have a good reputation, then I would try and see. You can get some pretty good deals off eBay. For the hacking your account, they can't get into it, with out a password. So you're safe. I'm paranoid like that, all the time!!
