I had been back & forth on , then I logged off & was still able to check my e-mail, w/o clearing cookies, so maybe I'm not having as much trouble as I thought!

It has been mentioned to update Adobe Flash Player. There IS a new version of Adobe out. To update Adobe Flash Player (and check which version you have), right click on the Webkinz login page. "About Adobe Flash Player" should come up, and click on that.

You will need to download the correct version for your operating system on your computer. You will also need to remove your old version before installing the new. So, you will have to download and run the Adobe Flash Player uninstall. This is how to do it:

Download Adobe Uninstall Program. Then:
Download the new Adobe Flash Player.
Close ALL web browsers that you use on your computer.
Run the adobe uninstall program. When that is finished:
Run the new Adobe Flash Player program.
Restart your computer.

This will update your Adobe Flash Player.

I hope everything is resolved soon!

Seven steps to update the Adobe Flash Player on Windows | Defensive Computing - CNET News and How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control go in to detail about it, giving a link to the Adobe uninstaller that this poster mentioned, because it is NOT suggested to use the windows uninstall for that {using uninstall Adobe program instead of Windows that is}. They both are reputable sites and both have links directly to the uninstall file{s} we are talking about, for different OSes and such along with definite do's and don't's about doing it all correctly {such as rebooting and all}. There are also sections about if you use certain browsers and/or multiple {more than one} browsers.

As for some of the other issues mentioned, it's doubtful -- I have 25 pets on the only account that does that, it has done it since the beginning almost when I had only a couple of pets, the dock is rarely over 50 items {I even quit gardening because of all the problems, sold off all wshop items from every single room, etcetera} -- I have access to multiple computers, browsers, ISPS and so forth {see my signature LOL} and it is rarely the computer, it IS those messed up serverS -- that account is on their #1 bad server of which they have at least 2, and accounts are 'set' to certain servers {although rarely some accounts will jump over to another server if it's too full on theirs, which mine never does, I check the DNS all the time}. They're too full, and too badly programmed -- the servers {don't know how many total but I've only gotten 4 or 5 different DNSes} have in them the following: WW site, estore site, newz site, Jr site and knows what all else, for all those members trying to use those sites in all those different countries.

However, since Adobe has updated {see links above for full information} and Adobe does not update previous install but instead does separate one {meaning old one or oneS still in machine} the uninstall and correct install for one or more browsers is advisable. BTW, the machine that it happens on the most is a brand new totally up to date laptop with all the bells and whistles and so much memory even I as excomp tech can barely believe it, so it's not a memory issue either. It's the serverS, and the fact that going in to 4 years they haven't bought any new servers, they haven't fixed the bad ones and/or the bad programming going on for hours, days, weeks, months and even years, and then their so called customer service always trying to tell people it's their computers or their dock or their ISP or their whatever. I know of people who have upwards of pets, docks with thousands of items in it, rooms crammed to the hilt with various items...and they don't have any of the problem m little bitty account has from this nd new {or any of the other} computer{s} -- they're not on the server I am.

Everybody says to clear cache and cookies, but usually it is enough to clear just the cache. I wouldn't suggest clearing cookies unless it's a last resort. I run my virus scan and let it clear the cookies it finds, but it does not delete anything to do with my banking.

In this case it appears an updated Adobe flash player would help. I do remember that I did that and I no longer have the problem.

Are you having the problem yourself, too, or is it just your mom?

I used to get this error sometimes on my big account but it went away when Ganz did a server upgrade.

135 items in the dock should not be too many.
No, 135 is NOT too many. I have 400 some, and i get that message every once and a while.
