defragging didnt do anything to it.. so ive tried all suggestions.. except firefox.. which i thought of but wont that take up alot of space? her computer has a small hard drive (probably the whole problem here but it used to work..
well that is probably the problem....only suggestion is upgrade the hard drive, or delete some things on the hd. If the hard drive is filled too full that is the main problem. everything on her computer will run very slow. Good luck
I have posted a lot about this & there are sites like WI that have ads that cause this problem. It is NOT WEBKINZ WORLD please feel free to read my posts and see pics on my profile.
Did mom notice it appearing after visiting WI before? then you can narrow down where the problem is originating.
First try these steps...
1. clear cache, cookies, temp folder etc (All of it) also for all browsers you use IE, Firefox ...etc
2. next close browsers & log off line
3. clean hard drive/disc cleanup (remove/delete all items)
4. open your virus scan, check each area & make sure to remove/delete all items in virus vault also check 'resident sheild' history and remove/delete any items there once all areas are empty then continue
5. next run your 'Complete' total computer virus scan- make sure all areas are set to scan (tracking cookies too) at auto speed NOT fast scan
6. next check virus vault & resident shield history again
7. if anything is in either make sure to select 'remove all infections' from resident shield & they will be removed or transfered to the vault. this will also show what the items are & they will no longer cause problems.
9. while virus protection is still open check all setting and make sure that each area is set to keep your computer protected also make sure it is set to scan for trackin cookies for the next few days so you will see what is trying to access & which site is doing it.
10.Restart computer this next step is Important- DO NOT Sign into or access the WI site at all Until you have first logged on to home page, then webkinz world and let all WW pages load completely then try another site, then try WI but still do not log on to WI just look & read pages (only need to sign in to post a message) you will see the majority (90%) of warnings will come from the ads on this site
& log out of WI after each visit from then on

I have two accounts on the same computer.
The small accont has 6 pets and about 25 to 100 items in the dock, I never ever get the Adobe runing slow warning on this accout.
But on my bigger account which has 197 pets and about 100 to 300 items in the dock most of the time, it always comes up with the Adobe runing slow warning. It has been like this for about a year, all I do is click NO and it runs fine.
I think it may be, she has a larger account, and it may not have anything to do with the computer at all.
I am using Adobe version 8, if you have it mabye you could up load the newer version 9.
Good luck and tell your mom to hang in there and do not give up on .
I just up dated to Adobe version 9 - no change it still comes up slow flash player on my large account.

Don't worry! It happens to my computer 2.Just say no to not abort the script. It mostly happens to me when i have too many thing loading for example: (slow day for the computer) I have Webkinz loading WebkinzInsider loading another website loading and another I should have not loaded so much websites lol. Then about a few hours later it's fine or the next day.
Sorry to hear your problem. Ive been there. lol I think most of us have been there. Any time I have had it happen, is when I had a lot of items in my dock. As far as virus scan, I use combofix. That scan finds all kinds of things you never knew you had. Good luck!
All you must do is say DO NOT ABORT the script and it should work fine. If it does not work fine after that then I would go and see if there is an update for flash player. If that does not work and you have issues with Flash Player on OTHER sites as well than it is flash player if not than it may be your cashe and cookies. Please Try clearing those as well then it should work and if all else fails defrag your HD. If it is Flash Player though un-install it and re install it. If that does not work call adobe and ask what else to do
Tell it no that you do not want to abort script. Also you may want to go to Adobe's website and check and see if you are running the latest edition of the Adobe Flash Player. If not it is a free download on their site. Good Luck!!
This is what I did when I ran into the problem and I have not seen that message since. So hopefully this is your problem also and it is a simple fix. Good Luck.
A3doglife mentioned problems happening after visiting WI ( didn't want to quote the whole message) & even when I cleared browsing history, download history & cleared my cache, I couldn't get on my email acct. I had to select clear cookies also, which I now do on a regular basis-except now my on-line banking doesn't recognize my computer automatically & I have to answer a security question before I can log on! As irritating as technical probs can be, I'd hate to do w/o WW or WI I hope you get this solved, good luck!
