Here is rule number 2 from the GT application
2. Gifting privileges will only be given to members who contribute to the WI forum as a whole. As such, we require that all members post a minimum of 50 posts before applying to be a Gift Trainee. The management reviews EVERY post by EVERY applicant before accepting them as a Gifted Trainee. Posts that are considered "fluff" will not count toward your 50 posts. If your posts do not count and/or your application is denied, DO NOT pm the staff to ask why and complain. Instead, continue to make good, strong, informative posts, then reapply. Posts in the "Help I need a pet name" forum and Role Playing posts will not count toward your 50 posts.

As a whole means they help out members who need it and are always polite and courteous when they cannot help someone. I bet that some of the people with over a thousand posts do the roleplays or something like that which does boost your post count but doesn't really contribute to WI as a whole.
By helpful posts I don't mean try and solve problem someone posts. You can be helpful by just trying to cheer someone up and letting them know you are a friend. I hope this helps you understand a little better but if it doesn't I will keep checking back and answering questions whenever I can.

I just think that if we have enough posts we should become a gift trainee so we can at least learn something about the Gift Exchange so we can be prepared

I don't know about that most of the people with over 1000 comments are usually the most helpful people on here and they have plenty of experience with this site and know many of the members

Try waiting a bit. Some of the people who apply have like 2000 posts! I just applied recently and it took me 4 days until I got a PM saying I had a coach!

Your right, I'm sorry. Sometimes I forget that I have over 1000 posts and I don't do roleplays..LOL. I wish you luck with becoming gifted and BTW, if they let everyone with over 50 posts into the Gift Trainee part, think of how crowded it would be and how overwhelmed the coaches would be. There is a lot to learn and they would not be able to train everyone correctly and then people might start getting scammed simply because they were not taught properly.

I just mean that once they get 50 posts they can at least have something to read that better explains how the gift exchange works.. And thanks for all the help
