I'm just purchasing a deluxe account, and it's forcing me to consent to automatic renewal. Is there a way to get around this, because I'm not comfortable with that - I only want to purchase the membership for the time it states on the price guide.

How do I cancel the automatic renewal option on my deluxe membership?
Canceling automatic renewal is done online right from your account manager or from your billing email notifications. You will receive a membership expiry notification 30 days prior to the end of your membership period. This notification will inform you of when your credit card will be charged and will also provide you the option to cancel your automatic renewal if you wish to do so. For monthly memberships, notification will be sent by email 14 days in advance.

I think that you could do the automatic renual then when the time that you want is up you can just get rid of the deluxe I hope that this helps.

To but Deluxe they farce you to consent to automatic renewal. However after you have bought it you can go in and remove the renewal consent from your account.

I agree it is a bad practice to force you to agree to that in the first place.

when you sign up to become a deluxe member in the e-store it gives you an option
of buying the two dollar three month contract , in which your contract will be automatically
renewed or the next cheapest one , the fifteen dollar contract , in which nothing will be renewed .
