Default Unanswered: Auto Renewal for Deluxe Memberships

THis previous thread was closed as answered, even though it was not answered completely. Where do you go on the e-store to change your account profile so that your yearly deluxe membership does not get automatically deducted from your credit card? Previous posters recited verbage from the legal agreement with Ganz, but I am concerned with the actual steps to turn the auto renewal off, as it appears you can't. Others have looked at the e-store site with no luck. Thanks.

I could not even find the agreement nor anywhere to change auto renewal either. I sent an inquiry about it to customer service yesterday and if I do not hear back that way I am going to call them next week. I suspect they never really implemented auto-renewal because they don't have a way to keep or update credit card information.

I went back into my history of purchases and found the purchase of my deluxe membership and used the magnifying glass to look at it and it said single purchase.

I hope this thread can stay open until someone has a complete answer to this.

Each Full Membership and Deluxe Membership will have a stated original term ("Original Term"). With the purchase of a Deluxe Membership, the Original Term of all pre-existing Accounts that you associate with the Deluxe Membership will be re-set to match the term of the Deluxe Membership.
Your Deluxe Membership will automatically renew for an additional term of equal duration to the Original Term (each a "Renewal Term") at the end of the Original Term and each preceding Renewal Termunless you have configured your Account profile to not renew membership or Ganz changes the terms of membership and/or increases the price of a membership purchased by you from the eStore. The cost of renewing your Deluxe Membership will be charged to your credit card on file. If you do not want your Deluxe Membership to renew automatically, simply de-select the automatic renewal box in your Account profile.

This was taken directly from the Deluxe Membership Agreement.

Bolded: In bold it explains what will happen to renew your account. Your account is renewed automatically for the deluxe membership for the amount of time you had bought it for. You will be charged again.
Underlined: In underline it shows how to cancel the deluxe membership renewal if you want to.
So, in order to cancel the deluxe membership you would have to go into your GANZ E-Store profile and uncheck the auto renew box. Then the membership will NOT renew.

Please note: If you bought the Yearly membership and it renews you WILL NOT get the exclusive item again. It is a one time only thing.

UPDATE:
Until I can locate the profile they are talking about the easiest way to cancel it would be on the night before the membership will end, you have to cancel the payment. So the card cannot charge the card again. Therefore the server cannot renew the membership. When you want to renew it again all you have to do would be to sign up again. Nothing will be different. I hope this helps.
The profile is not in Webkinz World or The Ganz Estore.

Sorry, but there appears to be no answer to their own user agreement. I have no idea how to verify if my credit card will be charged again. How can you cancel a payment that you are not even sure will occur? Not sure what you are talking about there.

When you log into your credit cards website, cancel the DELUXE membership CURRENT one. Because it is auto renewing, you can just cancel it after one year. BUT if you cancel it after the one year you are charged 45 dollars for the new one.

I don't think they really implemented the automatic renewal. I checked my membership purchase and it says single purchase. I got a response to the question I submitted to customer service, but not an answer to my question. I am going to call and find out on Monday.


And just where are you finding this deluxe agreement?

As for the credit card payment, usually recurring payments like that have to be cancelled on the other side. It's not the credit card company that initiates the payment, but in this case it would be Ganz. And I wouldn't want to cancel a payment to Ganz and make them mad.

It is at the end of the End User Liscense agreement.
I am doubting it is implimented but I would cancel it. Just explain to them.
Mine was also a single purchase.
