When ganz calls you on the phone to work on a problem, do they ask for your password? This may be a silly question, but I thought they were never supposed to ask for it. Well, someone called me today about an issue and they asked for it. I thought maybe they were able to access accounts already with all the info they have from when we signed up. Maybe they would ask for the password to confirm that WE are who WE say we are - not scammers? I mean, how do I really know I'm talking to someone from ganz?
Ganz called me and they did ask for my password. I know it was them because my caller ID said Ganz. Also, the guy did fix all my issues of stuck pets and items. You can always change your password right after you hang up if you're worried about it.
While I was talking to her, she asked me to hold and then came back after several minutes and said she had been on my account (actually this one's my daughter's). Then I went on, while still on the phone, and everything seemed okay. I did change the password as soon as I got off the phone with her just in case. Unfortunately my problem was not solved, but that's a story for another thread...
