Default Answered: Appliances are not working for me in WW

None of my appliances - the oven, sandwich maker, blender - will work in my house. I went to the Clubhouse to try to cook there and they won't work either. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

I can open them, but it won't take the food. Just sits there blank.

So I bought new ones, just to use until this is fixed, but I can't put them in any of my rooms. Very odd. Does anyone have advice, or should I just wait until Monday and write to Ganz? They haven't repaired the last issue I contacted them about weeks ago. I'm not one to complain & I will do all I can do first - I was super nice when I called but they didn't fix the previous issue (my first time ever contacting them) - so now I am not looking forward to telling them about this one.

I would like to repair it so I can cook for my Webkinz, please let me know if anyone has figured this one out in the past? Thank you!

Thank you for all your help. It came on for a bit and now it's not working again. Last time I was able to get onto WW anyway.

Now I can't even access clubhouse to find the ghost/candies so I am pretty bummed out. Server problems I'm sure.

I'm the tech person among all my friends, the one who fixes the computers and here I am totally stuck about this. Go figure.

Thanks again, I'll have to phone Ganz in the morning.

Try clearing you cache and then logging back in and see if that works. That fixes a lot of my glitches. Did you try removing the appliances from the room and then putting them back in? That might work too. Just some suggestions. Not sure why it's not working. Hope that helps!

I'd start with all the usual - clear your cache. If you don't know how to do this, there's a guide in the "Somebody Help" section; one of the blue "sticky" threads. Here it is: http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...-after-534444/

Then I'd log out, and back in again. If that still didn't help, try a different browser. I have far less glitches with Firefox than IE, but other people have different favourites, so try a few different ones, and see if one of them works. There are a number of free download options - Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, etc.

If none of those things help, you may have to call on Monday. Some reps are apparently far more helpful than others, so if you end up with a not so helpful one, hang up and try again. Hopefully you'll get someone better.

I just tested my stove and blender and they work fine. Clearing your cache and rebooting your computer usually fixes these types of problems.

When you try to contact GANZ, don't write to them. Either phone, or use the forms in the Customer Service section of the log-in page for WW.

Thank you. I had already tried to clear cache, restarted computer and had tried the different browsers before I posted. (I am using Opera mostly this weekend because Chrome and IE aren't working as well right now for WW for me). But I appreciate the advice, I will keep trying. I haven't tried Firefox yet so I will do that now. Thank you!

I would suggest logging in and off. You can also clear your cache, there's a thread about that! If does don't work, I would say you can wait a little, and try moving your appliances to cook.
