Totally off subject but I have to share. Isn't Ganz a Canadian Company, seems I heard that somewhere?
Anyway, while in Ireland my husband and I met some Irish folks that told us the cutest story about coming to America. They said when they got off the plane and on the moving sidewalk a big sign said "NO STROLLERS" so they started walking real fast. They said they thought to themselves, American's are always in a hurry but this is ridiculous. In Ireland our baby strollers are called prams and the word stroller is only used in the context of leisurely walking.
Our sign (to make sense to them) should have said no prams.
Maybe, (but probably not) the way English words are used in different countries is part of the confusion.
Yes, Ganz is a Canadian Company (I've been to the head office for 2 focus groups with my daughter) but we Canadians speak very much the same as Americans. I don't think that is the problem. It is most likely that they are being very safe for the little ones.
Webkinz World is getting insane! I can't beleave that ganz made me name my spa "s"! I can't even name my bathroom (wich I ended up naming "b"). The new security rules make me feel more uncomforable that I'm playing on webkinz world with a bunch of tottlers. Sure, I'ts good to play safe, but It's just crazy that I can't name my webkinz fish Fiona.
Yes, I kind of agree with you..but I still do understand why they are being so protective. They are just trying to keep all of the members safe so everyone can enjoy the site & not have to worry about anything.
I agree, some of the items on Webkinz seems like they are designed for 7+, which is quite annoying for us older members. I think you should be able to name the things you want with a filter for the 'bad' words. I also think in your rooms, you should be able to type what you want when friends come over.
