| | Unanswered: Any computer experts? Advertisements playing sound on computer! Script Error popup on WI?
This has been happening for a few days now, only on WI, and not any other website. I'll be just browsing, or posting, basically having WI open, and an error message will pop up saying "Internet Explorer Script Error", some error details, and "keep allowing scripts" Yes or No buttons. No matter what, if I click yes or no, a few seconds later, I will hear sound coming from my computer. It will be random, like an interview with a random person, or advertising for a movie, as if the television is playing from my computer. After a few minutes it will disappear. If I exit out of the internet, it will still play for a few minutes. I have not found a way to solve this, other than pressing the mute button on my computer and wait until the sound disappears. I will post a picture of the box the next time it comes up. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone...I am pretty good with computers, but this is just "Greek to me".
Can anyone shed any light on the situation?
The ads sounds are also playing without the popup; currently a sound ad for Lysol is playing.
Here is a picture of the latest one that appeared about a minute ago. The "sound" that is currently playing is for eye lotion...and NOW it is for Jet Dry. Another is Lysol... OH DEAR; now it's a game show playing!
UPDATE: Now a fake Vista security popup is coming up...I am seriously worried.
