When you buy webkinz online at amazon, do they always have a tag, because it doesnt always say and they generally gont use a picture of what they have, only like the picture of it in the webkinz catalog.
You are right in checking, better safe then sorry. I would only buy the ones that say "New With Sealed Tag", as you know the seller says they do, in fact, include a tag. The ones that say "Plush" probably do not, so I would not take the risk.
Amazon is similar to buying in a store, from what I understand - as long as you are not purchasing it from "another seller" or something to that effect. I would assume that they would have all of their tags and be new codes. I could be wrong, so I would suggest firing off an email to amazon's customer service and double checking with them.
I have bought a few off of Amazon before and they have always came with the tags. I don't buy from individual sellers, I try to find one from a store type seller. Most of them will say new or with tag something like that. If you find a good deal you can always email a question to that store customer service and they can verify if it does indeed come with a tag.
Sometimes individual sellers will be selling just the plush and might not be specific.
We have ordered Webkinz from Amazon, and they all had tags. Just make sure that you are ordering a NEW product, and you should be fine. Also, if it is sold directly from Amazon or from one of their Amazon Marketplace partners then Amazon will guarantee your satisfaction. Read their website for more details.
I have bought webbies through Amazon before. It is even how I finally found a Signature Panda for my DW's birthday. As long as you are buying something "New" you should be fine. If the item is listed as used, then you will need to check the item description. The nice thing about Amazon is that if you buy something and it is not as described, they will help you work with the seller.
I had a problem where I ordered a Signature Plush Panda, then realized a couple of hours later that it wasn't even a Webkinz. I sent the seller a request that they cancel my order, and they did with no questions asked. Most sellers on Amazon are great, and want to keep their customers and Amazon happy. You can always check the rating of the seller as well. I wouldn't buy from anyone who had a poor rating.
