Default Unanswered: Alternate way to change a thread title

Need help with changing the title of a thread. I know how to do it by using Modify, and Go Advanced - I do it for my GE all of the time. What I can't get to change is the title of my House thread.

I know that somewhere I read about an alternate way to change the title by clicking on the title itself. That's all I remember and I am hoping that someone can help me out with the rest of it.

Thanks in advance for your help !

ok I am going to do my best to explain this. Go to your profile or the thread its self. Then click near the end (not on the actual words though as that will open it up) and then it should select it all and put it in a type box!

I'm not getting it I did go to the thread itself and tried clicking after the title and it didn't do anything. I'm not sure where in my profile I would do this?

~The title has changed in my first post on my House thread, but the actual title that shows up in the Forum hasn't ???

I've actually tried to talk several member through this and it does not seem to work for them. You do exactly what richey said ... go to the main area of that forum, double click right beside (to the right) the title, it should turn into a white text box. Type in that, then click anywhere on the page to close it.

I'd really like it if someone (or a few someones) could try it and see if they can get it to work. then lmk.

This was not working for me until I tried double-clicking. Then it worked without any problems.

Great! A few more members try it for me. If it works and the directions seem clear I'll sticky a thread.

Aha! So it won't work for everyone? I'm hopelessly tech challenged.
