Oh, wow, having everything stolen from you? I'd ask your daughter exactly what happened and if she gave her password out to anyone. And then I'd follow everyone else's advice and keep a track of friends, change password, etc. You might also want to only be friends with people you know in the real world.
You may have to start from scratch again, which sounds horrible (especially since you've lost all those exclusives and beds and stuff) but I'm sure you can do it!
Sounds as if someone hacked her account!!... otherwise as stated..you would see the KK or new items in her home....Change your password ASAP...I just hate when I hear of these things happening...Stealing froma child...(well..anyone for that matter)....It just breaks my heart...So Sorry it happened...
Is it possible she just tried to see how much they would sell for and then removed them? There is a glitch that will sell them anyway. My kids and I have all lost items that way before we knew about the glitch.
Isn't the only way for someone to get into an account and clean it out (other than a very talented hacker) .. is for them to know the code on an item and the user name? I'm honestly not certain of this, but I have it in my head that's how you can get a password reset?
If that's accurate, my concern would be anyone she knew in her phone list, narrowed down by those who sent her(any of you) 'gifts' (ones that can be associated with a code) for any reason. You might be able to pinpoint the thief and/or determine no more gifts! Its a scary thought, but i think it can happen! On the other hand, the way it was picked clean implies it took quite a long time to accomplish for someone unfamiliar with that account and those rooms.
I'd also suggest you go very slowly and carefully when disgussing this with your children. You want them to offer up the truth and almost anything could seem incriminating in their own heads. It could also have a very harsh effect on them, depending on how much the account was used/enjoyed. If it felt like a *home*, this is going to feel like a home invasion robbery, which is a very personal and frigtening experience.
I'm sorry this happened to you. I do think you should also call Ganz and discuss it with them. They need to know it happened and they might be able to help you track down just what did occur.
Good luck! I'm terribly sorry this happened to your family.
If anyone got a hold of one of her webkinz ID's they can go gain access to your new password. I started putting the ID's in a file cabinet so there not just laying around. If they did it in that short amount of time I would check who is listed on the friends list. I would even ask some of them if they received any gifts from you lately. So sorry to hear about your lost but I don't believe you daughter sold the stuff.
