I was unaware that there is a problem adopting pets, so I tried to adopt my new cotton candy bunny this morning. Now I can not get into my account, although I can get into my other accounts. Has anyone had this issue resolved?
Welcome WildJimbo! You'll find a LOT of really helpful people here and SO MUCH information about WW. It's awesome!
My sad experience is that I adopted one pet successfully last night, they got booted out and locked out during the second adoption. Wasn't all the way through the process, but the pet I was trying to adopt shows as the select pet on the dock line, 100 happiness 75 health, 75 hunger. Don't know about any adoption gifts, if those were issued or not. Get the dock starting to load, and the green screen with a W in the middle, then it goes to the message, "We cannot connect to Webkinz World. Log in later for more fun and games" or something like that.
Thanks for the welcome.
My situation appears to be the same. On #3 we got as far as the CAPTCHA, entered it, then was told that our code had already been used. So, when I tried to log back in I see our new pet in the dock with the 100/75/75, but get the message immediately and can't click anything.
I am still locked out. Have been since Friday afternoon when I adopted a new pet. Try to get in and it shows the "Oops message...you are being logged out" even though I can see the pet in the corner.
Will be calling tomorrow and hopefully a human being will help.
Am so distressed at this point. I know, intellectually, these pets are not real but I feel such a loss at not being able to take care of them...when I was locked out, they were not sleeping. And, what's happening with my gardens?
When my sister gave me a webkinz in November, it took me until January to adopt it because I just didn't think this would be for me. I don't "play" much. Have always enjoyed more serious things. But, since I first adopted, I now have 18 pets and spend at least two hours a day playing. I am 62 years old.
But, now I don't trust this and would walk away but I can't abandon my pets. If I shared these feelings with anyone but my sister, they'd think I was nuts. But, I think you all understand. Thanks for listening.
My Grandson adopted a pet yesterday...Saturday...cause we didn't know there were adoption troubles and yes...he got locked out of his account. Please don't adopt until something is fixed. A message comes up saying Oops...I am sorry, we can't connect to Webkinz World. Please log back in later for more fun and games. YOu will now be logged off. Well, I tried clicking on the log off button on the screen and then it says, do you really want to leave Webkinz World...I say no and I am there but everything is stuck, nothing will load and the things to do button does not work.
Yes, I think you are being rude. We're locked out of our accounts and we're frustrated and upset. At the very least, we feel better knowing we're not alone. This website is a way to connect with others feeling the same way plus many people do NOT know about the adoption problems. How would they as there is nor warning whatsoever from Ganz. Until it happened to me, I didn't even know about this website which I found trying to research answers.
