When I've been on the Webkinz site, today, with the new layout, every so often I get a sign on my screen that says "A script in this movie is causing adobe flash player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unrsponsive. Do you want to abort scritp?" The first time I said YES and my computer froze up. Had to shut it down without logging out because nothing would unfreeze it. .......
Start computer again. Log on to Webkinz site, happens again. This time I click NO. Everythig goes along fine for a little while and then same sign saying same thing appears.
Any clues as to why this is happening? It did not happen with the old layout. Is it a glich that they will fix? Do I need to update my adobe flash player? I run windows XP. My resolution is set at the right requirement.
It's not Webkinz related, it is Microsoft & Adobe related. You hit the nail on the head. Flash is a plug-in (program) made by Adobe that you can install on your computer. It allows you to view and run many of the the cool, animated programs found on the Internet. It is not always user friendly with Microsoft's Windows operating systems. There in lies the problem. Go to the Adobe website (www.adobe.com) and look for the Flash Player. Your computer may need to upgrade the version of the player that is installed on it.
